When you use the AI Cover Letter Generator, we send your Profile Data (Personal Summary, Skills, Work Experience, Education) and the Job Description you are viewing to Google's Large Language Models (LLMs) via Firebase AI. This data is used by the AI model solely to generate a personalized cover letter for you.
This processing is based on your explicit action of initiating the AI generation.
- For Service Administration and Support (Legitimate Interest):
- To respond to your inquiries and provide customer support.
- To troubleshoot technical issues and improve service functionality.
- To monitor and prevent misuse or violations of our Terms of Service.
- Authorized administrators may access user data to fulfill support requests or investigate suspected terms violations.
- For Analytics and Service Improvement (Legitimate Interest & Consent):
We analyze aggregated and anonymized usage data to understand how the Service is used, identify trends, and improve its features and performance. This data does not personally identify you.

- With Service Providers: We use third-party services like Google Firebase (for authentication, database, and AI backend) and potentially Google Analytics. These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually bound to protect your data in accordance with GDPR.
- For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your data if required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your personal data may be transferred to the acquiring entity.

- Your personal data is stored securely on Google Firebase servers.
